Different in use

Different production process

Polypropylene staple fiber is produced by chemical reaction or mechanical processing to break polypropylene molecules into short fibers, and then by spinning or wet paper production. In the production process of polypropylene filament, plastic particles are heated to a dissolved state, and then extruded by spinning machines, stretching and forming, and finally obtain a continuous filament.

Different physical properties

The length of polypropylene staple fiber is short, so the strength and friction resistance are poor, usually used in the production of labor protection clothing, carpets, car seats and so on. The polypropylene filament has good strength and friction resistance due to its continuity, and can be made into various silk, satin and other fabrics.
