From April 10th to 13th, a 16-person industry delegation led by Yang Xiaojing, the president of the China Sewing Machinery Association, consisting of the main responsible persons of 11 enterprises, made their first stop in Malaysia for a special exchange activity.

In recent years, Malaysia has been an important user market and re-export market for China's sewing machinery industry. With the successive relocation of garment enterprises from various countries to it, the new trends in the development of Malaysia's textile and garment market have attracted the attention of Chinese sewing machine enterprises.

For this reason, the delegation made a special visit to the Malaysian Textile Manufacturers Association (MTMA) and held exchanges and discussions with the association's president, Chen Songshu, executive director Hasnah Binti Ahmad, executive secretary Chen Yunyang, and representatives of local distributors.

MTMA is the only textile and garment industry organization recognized by the Malaysian government. During the inspection, both sides had an in-depth exchange on the development status, industrial layout, application of sewing equipment and training implementation of the garment and related industries in Malaysia.
