Green manufacturing is conducive to fostering new growth points

"In these years, China's industrialization has advanced rapidly, and the overall industrial level has been significantly enhanced. However, it has also consumed a large amount of resources and energy, which has had a certain impact on the environment. At present, China's resource and environmental carrying capacity is close to the upper limit. In this context, the industrial direction is promoted. The green direction is crucial. Accelerating industrial green development is an important measure to promote the construction of ecological civilization. Green manufacturing is an effective measure to accelerate the cultivation of new green and low-carbon growth points.” Ouyang Yuming from the Department of Energy Conservation and Comprehensive Utilization of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology The words fully explain the important value of promoting green manufacturing in China's industrial sector.

According to reports, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology has formulated the "13th Five-Year Plan for Industrial Green Development" and the "Guidelines for the Implementation of Green Manufacturing Projects" in the past few years to strengthen macro guidance on industrial development. Since 2016, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology has supported 225 key projects with green manufacturing, recommended 454 industrial green credit projects to CDB and other financial institutions, and released 720 green manufacturing demonstration lists, supporting 286 industrial energy conservation and green development. Standards speed up revision.

In the next step, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology will further implement green manufacturing projects and accelerate the construction of a green manufacturing system. It will use fiscal and taxation policies such as green manufacturing specializations and tax incentives, as well as financial instruments such as green credit and green bonds to promote industry-university-research, upstream and downstream cooperation and promote Green key common technology innovation and industrial application, give full play to the green manufacturing demonstration to lead and drive the green transformation of the manufacturing industry.

The textile industry is an industry with new competitive advantages in China, and the chemical fiber industry is the pillar industry for the overall competitiveness of the textile industry. In 2017, China's total chemical fiber production reached 49.2 million tons, accounting for 70% of the total global fiber production. Due to its important value, the textile and chemical fiber industry is one of the key support industries for the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology to promote green manufacturing.

Wang Yuanjing, deputy director of the Second Bureau of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, said that China's textile industry has the characteristics of many product categories and long industrial chain. From raw material supply, production and processing, to consumption recovery, all aspects are closely related to the ecological environment. The green development of the industry is to achieve green mountains and green mountains. Beautiful China is of great significance.

Wang Yuanjing pointed out that under the new historical background, China's chemical fiber industry must promote the high-end development of the world, and must focus on the frontiers of world fiber technology, strengthen basic research, achieve forward-looking research, break through key common technologies, leading-edge technologies, disruptive innovation technologies, and green. Manufacturing Technology. To grasp technological innovation, we must enhance our sense of urgency, establish a development strategy in a timely manner, comprehensively enhance our independent innovation capabilities, and provide a source of power for the innovation and development of the chemical fiber industry. The higher quality development of the chemical fiber industry needs to rely on scientific and technological progress, and the green development of the industry requires technological innovation.

“Environmental protection is a fashion and a responsibility. Under the promotion of basic national policies for resource conservation and environmental protection, all industries have implemented the most stringent ecological environmental protection system, forming a green development mode and lifestyle. The chemical fiber industry is actively building Green technology innovation system, safe and efficient energy system, optimization of ecological security barrier, creating a 'green fiber' brand in the industry, actively participating in global environmental governance, becoming an important participant, contributor and leader of global ecological civilization construction." Wang Yuanjing said .

Green manufacturing technology is related to the sustainable development of chemical fiber industry

Advancing the green development of the chemical fiber industry needs to rely on green manufacturing technology, including energy-saving emission reduction technology and green fiber manufacturing technology. Polyester free catalyst polymerization technology is one of them.

Wang Rui, dean of the School of Materials Science and Engineering, Beijing Institute of Fashion Technology, introduced at the meeting that the ruthenium catalysts have the advantages of high catalytic activity, low side reactions and low price, and still dominate the polyester industry, but due to the use of such catalysts. It will form a certain enthalpy pollution, so the use of green catalysts in the polyester industry to replace traditional lanthanide catalysts is an important trend.

Wang Rui further introduced that the titanium catalysts that have appeared on the market have the advantages of easy storage, good stability, easy dispersion, high catalytic activity, safety and no toxicity, and can gradually replace the lanthanide catalysts, and can fundamentally solve the problem of heavy metal pollution. . In addition, the industry also needs to develop flawless flame retardants, and adopt non-reducing processes in the textile processing, strengthen environmental protection investment, improve resource utilization and reduce pollution.

It is very important to reduce the consumption of petroleum resources in the green development of the chemical fiber industry. Therefore, accelerating the development of bio-based chemical fiber technology is also an important part of promoting green development. The development of some bio-based fiber categories in China was also introduced.

Zhang Hongguang, Commercial Director of Shanghai Kaisai Biotechnology Research Institute, said that Kaisai Biotech has broken through the technical bottleneck in the production of bio-based pentamethylenediamine, and developed and produced the bio-based polyamide product Tailun. Tailun retains the biological activity of natural fiber to the utmost extent. Its resilience is better than that of PTT fiber. Its strength is better than that of nylon 66 fiber, and its modulus of elasticity is low. Its softness is comparable to that of wool. It also has excellent properties such as low temperature coloring and essential flame retardancy. Performance has good application prospects in the civil and military fields. The company has invested in industrialization projects in Xinjiang, Shandong and other places. The first phase of the project in Xinjiang Wusu can produce 50,000 tons of bio-based pentaamine and 100,000 tons of bio-based polyamide fiber.

In particular, it is worth noting that the recycling technology of waste chemical fiber textile resources is also an important component of the green manufacturing technology of China's chemical fiber industry. China's chemical fiber industry has achieved great success after about 20 years of rapid development, but at the same time of rapid development, the problem of recycling of waste chemical fiber textiles is becoming more and more urgent. At present, the recycling rate of China's textiles is less than 10%, and there is a clear gap compared with developed countries. It is estimated that by the end of the "Thirteenth Five-Year Plan", the production of waste chemical fiber textiles in China will reach nearly 200 million tons.

In this regard, Jiang Shicheng, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, pointed out that the raw materials for chemical fiber production are mainly petrochemical raw materials, so the development of chemical fiber recycling economy will inevitably drive the development of low-carbon economy. In the context of global warming, the “battle of war” in the low-carbon economy has quietly started. Under the circumstance that the energy structure dominated by fossil energy is difficult to change in the short term, China's industrial energy conservation task is arduous.

Jiang Shicheng calculated the account for the industry. He pointed out that compared with 20% to 30% of industrial energy consumption in developed countries, China's industrial energy consumption is as high as 70%, and industrial carbon emission reduction will be China's "main battlefield" to deal with climate change. If calculated in a single cycle, each ton of recycled polyester can reduce crude oil consumption by 39% and CO2 emissions by 3.2 tons compared to virgin polyester. At the current international average price of 10 US dollars to 20 US dollars per ton, if China's recycled polyester textiles can exceed 10 million tons / year, the annual direct carbon tax benefits will be 320 million US dollars to 640 million US dollars.

"Promoting the construction of the recycling system is the responsibility of the big country that China must shoulder. The development of the recycling cycle is China's basic national policy, and the chemical fiber recycling cycle is an important part of the construction of the recycling industry. According to the development strategy, by 2025, China's waste chemical fiber textile renewable resources The utilization rate can reach 20%, and the high value utilization rate can reach 50%. Through various measures, China's recycling cycle technology level and innovation ability will rank among the top in the world, and participate in international competition at a higher level such as low carbon and resources. Accelerate the transformation and upgrading of China's textile industry to the sustainable development of green environmental protection and resource conservation, and realize the transformation of China from a textile regenerative country to a strong country." Jiang Shicheng stressed.
